In a remarkable session held during Cairo Water Week in October 2023, IWMI’s Al Murunah project took centre stage, shedding light on the development and implementation of Rebuilding Nature-Based Water Solutions (RNBWS) in Egypt and the wider MENA region. The session, titled “Building the foundations for community-led development of integrated, nature-inspired water solutions in Egypt and the wider MENA region,” proved to be a catalyst for discussion and collaboration.
Bringing together a diverse group of experts, the session featured a keynote speech, insightful presentations, and a dynamic multi-stakeholder panel discussion.
