IWMI convenes a regional dialogue in Beirut focuses on policy alignment, climate finance and community-led water resilience. The “Financing Climate Adaptation through Resilient Nature-Based Water Solutions: Regional Insights Shaping Lebanon’s Path” event will brings together ministries, municipalities, donors, private sector actors and regional experts to translate NbS commitments into practical, finance-ready action.

Drawing from Al Murunah’s work across the MENA region, the dialogue will advance Resilient Nature-Based Water Solutions (RNBWS) that support:
✔ Flood and drought resilience
✔ Ecosystem restoration and groundwater recharge
✔ Finance-ready, locally led solutions aligned with Lebanon’s NDC and NAP
✔ Community-driven, gender-responsive implementation informed by regional experience (in Jordan, Egypt, Palestine and Lebanon)
